Curation Policy
Every startup climbs a public, verifiable, and progressive credibility ladder. This is exactly what we require, at every level — no exceptions.
The credibility ladder
No investor or predictor has to take it on faith — every startup's level is visible before anyone commits capital.

Curation criteria — Level 0
01
Manual approval
Only startups approved directly by Platia Capital can list.
02
Verifiable core metric
Every question is based on a real business metric — users, MRR, clients, signed contracts, closed round — never an opinion without evidence.
03
Agreed verification source
The source that resolves the market is defined and accepted before listing — not after.
04
Maximum listing term
Contracts capped at 12 months. No startup lists for an indefinite period.
05
Simultaneous market limit
A maximum of 2 active market questions per startup at a time.
06
Held pending verification
The startup's 20% of the pool is held at the sponsor bank until verification is complete — it earns the same interest described in the Pricing Policy.
The hold isn't indefinite — it releases once standard verification is complete, not at case-by-case discretion. The founder also signs, as a document separate from this policy, a personal statement certifying that the information provided is true and that the capital received will be used for its stated purpose.
Affiliated startups
Some startups listed on BetaMarket are part of Platia Capital's ecosystem. These are explicitly marked "Affiliated startup" on their market listing — no exceptions, and no reduced requirements versus an outside startup.
No outcome is under our control
While the Platia Capital team knows these startups closely, no outcome (acceptance into a program, closing a client, completing a build) is under its direct control — each depends on a third party's decision. Every market includes links to verifiable sources so each predictor can research independently before deciding.
False information
Additional protections
Clawback clause
BetaMarket has a contractual right to recover capital already disbursed if fraud is proven — it doesn't depend on any external authority acting first.
Related-party prohibition
No startup may use capital received in transactions with parties related to the founder or their team, without Platia Capital's prior, explicit approval.
A legal entity's limited-liability protection does not apply once fraud is proven — this is already established legal doctrine ("piercing the corporate veil"), not a condition BetaMarket imposes on its own.
Ongoing review
Special curation
Exclusive to compute/AI startups that are already HSAIH™ clients. Access isn't through open curation like other categories — it comes from being a commercial client.
Disclosed conflict of interest
HSAIH™ and BetaMarket™ are affiliated entities under Platia Capital. This relationship is publicly disclosed to every predictor before they can participate.
Restricted zones
No startup registered in the "Próspera" ZEDE will be admitted to BetaMarket™. Founders should consider moving their registration to regions where international law and their country's own constitution back them.
We consider "zones of questionable standing" any region that doesn't respect its native country's constitution. Founders are responsible for confirming their eligibility before starting the curation process.
