You predict YES or NO on a verifiable goal of a startup. If your position is correct when the market resolves, you get a pro-rata share of 50% of the total pool. Even if you're wrong, you get back 10% in total — 5% as credit for your next prediction, and 5% in an account that earns interest through our sponsor bank (subject to that bank's requirements). The probability at the time of your prediction is locked — it doesn’t change after you confirm. This mechanism activates when BetaMarket™ opens to the public — reserve your spot on the waitlist.

BetaMarket™ is a startup prediction market — a financial tool where participants predict verifiable economic outcomes. It's legally different from sports betting or casino gambling. We operate under Honduran commercial law, and each market is backed by a publicly verifiable resolution source. We don't list sports events, political candidates, or unverifiable outcomes.

All of the pool's capital is kept in segregated accounts managed by Platia Capital S.A. under CNBS supervision — not directly by BetaMarket. When a market settles, the distribution (50% winners / 20% startup / 20% platform / 5% credit for predictors who were wrong / 5% sponsor bank savings account) is executed via bank transfer with full audit documentation. The savings account portion is managed by our sponsor bank and is subject to that bank's requirements and approval. Platia Capital S.A. is the registered operator and the legal entity responsible for all disbursements.

If the startup’s metric isn’t met (e.g., VIG AI doesn’t get its first client on time), the NO side wins and the NO predictors take 50% of the pool. The YES predictors still get back 10% total — 5% as credit for their next prediction, 5% in a savings account at the sponsoring bank. The startup still gets 20% of the pool no matter what — that way BetaMarket makes sure startups always benefit from being listed. This is the resolution mechanism that will be applied once BetaMarket™ is up and running — join the waitlist to predict as soon as we launch.

Each market resolution source is publicly declared before the market opens and is linked directly from the market page. The resolution sources are official public institutions: INE (Honduras), BCH (Central Bank of Honduras), CNBS, SAR, Crunchbase, or the startup's own public metrics agreed upon contractually before listing. BetaMarket and Platia Capital have no non-public information about any listed startup. Every participant predicts based on the same data.

New users who create an account and complete Sumsub's KYC verification receive a $10 credit automatically applied to their first prediction. The bonus is not withdrawable, but any profit it generates is completely yours. It applies once per verified identity—no duplicate accounts. The purpose is simple: we want you to experience a real market prediction decision without risking your own money first. This bonus is activated along with account openings and KYC verification, at the launch of BetaMarket™ — it’s not available during the current waitlist stage. To participate in a market, just verify your email — but the KYC must be confirmed before the predictive period ends, or your earnings payment may be delayed.

BetaMarket™ is open to users from Latin America, the United States, and Europe. All participants must complete KYC (Know Your Customer) identity verification via Sumsub before placing any predictions. Exploring the markets and reading the context is free and doesn’t require an account. Some jurisdictions may be restricted — our Terms of Service list all geographic exclusions. Individual market tokens and KYC verification are enabled at launch — join the waitlist to get access as soon as they are available.

Yes — HSAIH™, VIG AI, and HSLC Space are part of the Platia Capital ecosystem and are marked as "Affiliated Startup" on their market profile. Although the Platia Capital team knows these startups well, no outcome (acceptance into a program, closing a client, completing a project) is under their direct control — it depends on decisions by third parties. Each market includes links to verifiable sources so that each predictor can do their own research before deciding. And even if they had a magic ball to predict the future, it's impossible because it can't predict the behavior, decisions, and beliefs of the predictors. So it's subject to the luck of the predictors. Therefore, it's valid for these startups to also have the opportunity to apply.
